Open Mind Discussion Club - WELCOME!

As you walk down the cold and lonely street, you see a lighted doorway far ahead. As you get closer, you can faintly make out the words on the door.

You grin ear to ear as you reach for the antique brass doorknob because it just feels like home to you. As you enter, you are greeted by a servant dressed in a full tuxedo. He takes your coat and requests that you follow him.

He leads you to a large room filled with very comfortable chairs. Other members are in some of the chairs and they all grouped around a large and warm fireplace whose wooden and stone mantle dominate one wall.

You are led to a large comfortable chair. “There you are!” says The Chairman and he sits directly across from you. “We are SO glad that you finally made it. Let me explain a little bit about Open Mind Discussion Club.”

“We are just a place to gather and talk. Nothing more; nothing less. We are not really interested in sharing files or videos unless they add to the discussion. Our members here just like to discuss and chat about everything.”

“Whatever has you talking to yourself or commenting on when you see something in life or on TV or in the newspapers or even on-line. If it has YOU talking, chances are that others will be interested as well.”

“I encourage you to jump right in. There is no fee for membership into Open Mind. All we ask is that you go to this post and get the registration code. You will need to enter it later. This is to help keep out those with motives other than a good discussion.

The e-mail address that you supply is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one).

With that, the two of you stand. He puts out his hand for a warm handshake.

“Welcome my friend!” he says, and then he turns to the rest of people in the room. “Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce to you a NEW MEMBER!”
